The End is Drawing Nigh...
In my opinion...wait...I don't have to say that on my own blog. Correction: The poem has been solved.
That being said, the chest will not be easy to find. The poem does lead to an exact spot, but the chest isn't in plain view. That is why a couple people have walked past it. They didn't know what they were looking for.
The story that got me and my partner to this area has been fun, entertaining, heartbreaking, nostalgic, exciting and magical. Forrest has definitely crafted a way to ensure his name will never be taken from him.
I believe someone else may know where it is. I also believe more than a few people think they know where it is, but are looking in the wrong state. All the solves are well thought out, and many people deserve to find it. However, I do now believe that it will be me and my partner that do. If the weather holds out for us.
That's all I can say. I'll bring my GoPro and we won't be in any danger, and I know for a definite fact that now is the time to act.

Ha! That's cute. (Jamie, I can't find your return comment to this one...)
Those that know me, know I will be the first to admit if I'm wrong.
And I'm not trying to boast or brag. I could not have figured this out alone. I'm confident, which I believe is different than being boastful. I've said over and over, that no one's solve is right until they have the treasure in hand, and that includes me. That does NOT mean that I don't know where it is and how to get it.

Have you gotten to search the area yet? Can you tell what state you are looking in?

Mindy, by the way, the poem was solved several months ago, I just can't go and pick it up until June. Let me know if you get there first.

Mindy,
I know what you mean about feeling heartbroken, nostalgic, exciting and magical. I went out to the woods recently and saw some nature that was so extraordinary, that I really have no way to describe it. If I tried to, no one would believe me anyway. Which is probably fine for now, at least, since there are some things that are sort of intended to be like that.
One of the things I can share is that while I was sitting up there in the woods, under the stars, a little green frog with buggy eyes hopped right up and just sat down nearby, it was funny and very cool!
Anyway, every once in a great while an experience comes along that, maybe like a few of Forrest's experiences, almost makes you wonder about the rules of the universe.
I'm not sure if anybody else can really understand that or not...
Well, best of luck on your hunt!
