Since we only had a morning schedule, I got off work a little early and took Joe to apply for his passport. That was pretty painless, since there was no wait at the county clerk's office.
Today we have a jammed packed schedule, and could be my busiest day yet. I'm ready, though, and looking forward to a steady flow of patients.
I can't remember if I told you guys we went to see "A Quiet Place," over the weekend. It was pretty good, and was directed by my TV crush: John Krasinski, aka Jim Halpert (The Office). My main issue with the movie was the waterfall. If louder sounds drown out people's voices, and even the sounds of screaming, why doesn't the family mimic the sound of waterfalls around their house? The creatures obviously have learned that the waterfall is not on their menu, and don't continually attack it. They've determined the waterfall is nothing more than "background noise."
So, I can see why moving to the waterfall is problematic, but why not move a waterfall (or four) to them? The year is 2021, and we have simple technology now that would make it feasible to create the sound of waterfalls around the perimeter of their property. The creatures would ignore it, and the family could carry on without much of the fear they live in every single day of their life.
If I was that family, I'd be creating about ten of these around my house:

Happy Wednesday! I noticed Mike Davis is promoting fake news today with claiming only 1 user on CC. I checked just now and I see 313, and someone told me there is only 5 active users on the hate site. So it is very clear to those who do not listen to Davis Fake News (DFN) which site is really dead!
