Well, I finally slept last night, and my night was filled with dreams. Mostly pleasant dreams, like one where for some reason I helped Chris Pratt start an old beat up pickup truck in a town that was my own that really wasn't, and he was suddenly my friend, so we went out to eat, and the owner of the restaurant was one of my friends, and I kept saying, "That's Chris Pratt!" Like a dummy. Lol.
And she was like, "Oh yeah, I see. Wow!"
Then it was time to take Chris Pratt to the airport and I guess he was letting me keep the big ole truck, which was all rusty and chugged along like a squirrel stopping every few feet to check the ground for an acorn.
Before he left, he gave me a list of stuff he wanted from the grocery store for the next time he was in town. Lol.
Another of my dreams had to do with work, and was sorta funny, but I don't remember it.
So, I got an email the other day saying a producer may be calling me soon to talk about a future movie about Forrest's life. Diggin got the same email and posted it on FB. I guess it's going to be a big Hollywood deal, with a well-known producer and screen writers and stuff. Sounds interesting! I hope I get picked for whatever... we don't know if they just want to hear about our adventures or what... if that's all it is, I want Uma Thurman to play me. I'm sure Brad Pitt will play Forrest. :)
Just a couple more days till I head west...I wonder what adventures James and I will have this time? Driving a U-Haul with a Jeep on the trailer in back...lol. James finished packing last night, and hit the road. Hopefully, he's safe and sleeping somewhere right now... (just got a text--he's near Portland and just woke up--doing great)
Yesterday was extremely busy at work. I think I sweated off another 2 pounds in X-ray. It was the most X-rays I've ever done in a day, and I made an extra effort to move quick. I think I'm finally getting into the swing of handling both jobs, and today I'll continue working ahead to make sure I don't overwhelm my boss with the surgery aspect of my job while I'm gone. I've pretty much worked ahead into March, and I'll keep plugging away today to see if I can get them all done. Then tomorrow looks like another huge day in X-ray.
And I guess we're converting our X-ray room into more of a C-arm capable mini surgery room or something. I just know a C-arm and new table are coming in, and the doctor and I experimented a little last night with how it's going to work. I didn't think it would at first, but our doctor has a mind that works in a forward thinking kind of way, and after showing me his ideas, I'm thinking it may just work. So, it'll be exciting when get this going, and it'll be fun to reacquaint myself with a C-arm, and if he does do minor surgeries, it'll be super fun to work the C-arm for him during them.
Here's a pic I found of a doctor using a C-arm in a bizarre white room lol:
Then, I still have to do laundry and clean the house and pack before I leave early Friday morning. Whoo wee...being busy is good. It's helping me step outside of my comfort zone, and I'm gaining some confidence and determination I'd lost in the last couple years.
So, I'm feeling good...it's nice to feel good...
