Since the kids didn't want to do a theme park, we headed to Orlando for some Medieval Times action. Since traffic was absolutely I-4-HORRIBLE, we were late for the 6:00 pm show, but since we bought the VIP passes, they were able to switch us to the 8:30 show.
We had a great time, and when it was time for our knight (Black and White) to hand out his flowery favors, he chose Callie. It might have been due to me waving wildly and screaming "Her, her!" that got his attention, but I'm pretty sure it was her beauty.
But she is sorta jumpy. Maybe that's a result of visiting Florida from a place that is halfway safe and sane. Here she is, reacting to a noise, or something...
One surprise she had for us was that she's pregnant. HA! Just kidding...she's actually some kind of vegetarian now, and she ordered some special nasty vegetarian mess instead of the roast chicken.
James was happy he got an extra potato.
And afterward, we got a picture of with our handsome knight.
And of course, I want one of these:
And James wants one of things, thinking he can control me or something, lol:
Anyway, it was a great time. We stayed the night at a Homewood Suites on International Drive. The next day, we went to an escape room place, and we escaped with 4 or so minutes to spare. It was fun, and the pic should hopefully be up on their Facebook page soon.
As we were driving to New Smyrna Beach, we drove by this sight, which you can probably only see in Florida...or Georgia:
Afterwards, we ate at the Cheesecake Factory. Then, yesterday, I made the ten hour round trip to take the boys back home to NSB. Here's a couple pics of A'Vikng at the charging station:
While the car was charging in Port Orange, Aidan and Callie joined Joe and me for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. It was nice to have a meal with all three kids at the same time!
Afterward, Aidan posted this on FB...I have no idea why she's calling herself "Chanel Lopez," or why she's making that terrible face. Lol.
On the way home, it started raining, but when we stopped to charge at the halfway point, we were blessed with this:
It reminded me of the blessings we are showered with every day. Family is everything. :)
