I firmly and whole-heartedly believe my daughter will come through this stronger, and more determined to stay on the right track. She has a good attitude, owns her mistakes and is ready to move forward. One thing I'm trying to teach her is that she doesn't need to feel shame for falling to addiction. It can happen to the strongest people. She can make it through and she can have a successful life. The people who SHOULD feel shame are the ones who are trying to constantly post her mugshot in an effort to shame me through shaming her. It won't work. We are unconquerable.
So, we pick ourselves up and keep marching on. What was it that Sean recently said about Edison and failure? I think I used that quote in a blog post in the past as well. Funny how the haters seemed to love that quote when Sean said it while incorrectly assuming my "failures" were a different animal. Bravo, Sean, you proved the hate site's hypocrisy!
And really, failures? I made decent money writing and editing. I didn't stop writing and editing because I failed at it--I stopped because I didn't like writing or editing that kind of thing--and I stopped when I was starting to make some good money. Being a multi-published author, no matter what genre, is EXTREMELY difficult to do, unless you self-publish. All of my novels and articles were paid gigs. I still receive royalty checks because the haters want to pay me, I suppose. But I didn't get to be a senior editor for three different top Internet publishing companies by failing at what I do. And why have none of the haters looked at the other places I've been published? Like Guideposts, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and The Outlook? Made extremely good money for the latter--$1200 for 800 words that took me about 25 minutes to write--not bad.
It's funny the pictures the imaginations of haters dream up. You know, that I'm some screechy, high maintenance, frantic b---- who's always desperate or screaming like a banshee. Lol. Not so, little bears...I'm the calmest girl around. I am passionate, yes, when I write something that means a lot to me. But on the surface, I'm calm, cheerful, and always ready to laugh or smile. People who actually know me personally see that.
But setbacks are just one step backward. When taking two steps forward, I'm sure to always keep moving that way. When I get knocked down, I ALWAYS get back up again. I NEVER give up, not on my daughter, not on my life, not on anything--I keep marching, I keep looking up, and I keep moving forward. no matter how hard the struggle, no matter how deep the mud, no matter how thick the smoke from fires burning all around. I keep on.
And that, my friends, is what makes me... UNCONQUERABLE.
Mindy you are a strong and supportive mother. It is shameful how the hate site treats you, but you have to understand these people are the 1% of the ultra losers in life. They have lost at everything and they need to lash out at someone to elevate them above anyone. Misery loves company. The hate site Harry gang has recently realized they are not Fenn's gut feeling and it is very disappointing to them because their sole goal was to defeat you. Then are extremely desperate to defeat you, they are willing to dive into the $hit filled gutter to do it. They all share one common trait, they cannot accept responsibility for their own failures. They blame you for their deserved exit from ChaseChat. After two years Davis, Seannm, Jonsey, Larson, Harry, njfl and mmc still cry everyday and blame you for their demise. To them you took away the only thing that has ever made them feel important. Everyone else understands why they were booted, but they can't get over it and that is their problem not yours.
They hate those who have apparent success and who are happy. You represent everything that losers in life hate. They are jealous of you and they need to pull all successful people down to their pathetic level.
It is amazing that you are a successful writer, I would be proud of that regardless of how they spin it. They are providing you free advertisement for your books, so in a way you should just thank them.
Now as far as Seannm goes, he is an egotistical showboat who craves attention. He is a hothead loser who enjoys picking on women he perceives are easy targets. He is very easy to read, as you can tell by the previous posts predicting his behavior and he blindly delivered. They see through his craving for attention. He sees you as a target because you have been successful and popular in the chase, which he is not. He needs to be in front of the camera bragging to naive searchers about how great he thinks. But the smart searchers know what that he is a 60+ search loser. If one can't solve this in less than 10 searches, they don't have what it takes to win this. He definitely does not have what it takes to solve this poem. He is inferior and deep down he knows it and lashes out at you.
Seannm is a spoiled child who has lost this game, he publicly burned Fenn's book to show that he feels superior than Fenn. That is pure arrogance. He has totally lost it on the blogs with hate filled swearing rants only to be booted off all the blogs except the 2 hate blogs, who have nominated him as their hate site poster boy.
Everyone can or will eventually see he the biggest hypocrite in the search. He accuses you and your supporters of doing exactly what he does. He sounds like a broken record with his "label and marginalize," yet that is exactly what he does to you or anyone who challenges him. He lacks the intellect to debate and as a result resorts to ad hominem attacks.
Seannm's craving to brag in front of his vanity camera is transparent and telling of his true motive. He failed to successfully debate any of his points and that is why he has chosen to cower behind the protection of Youtube, where he can delete or block any rebuttal that exposes his lack of intelligence.
When the treasure is found, he will be the first to scramble to delete all his content, for it will prove how wrong he was about everything. He doesn't have the maturity to admit he is wrong.
