Rocky Night

Yesterday, Aidan called me at work screaming in pain. I told her to go to the ER, and that I'd meet her there. But first I had to pick up Joe at Daytona State where he was taking an AP exam. So I went and we waited in a jam packed ER for over an hour, and there were several people still ahead of us, some retching terribly. It was like a zombie apocalypse.

Aidan started to get hungry and seemed to start feeling better. She gets really bad cramps every month, but these seemed different to her. She decided she didn't want to wait any longer, so she said she'd make an appointment with a gynecologist in the morning. I was more concerned about an ectopic pregnancy than anything, but I think that would be more constant pain, so I said that would be okay if she wanted to go home.

But last night at 1:30 am, she called again, crying in pain. She didn't think she could drive, so I picked her up and we went to Halifax this time, and she was seen right away. They gave her some medicine, which helped, and gave her a prescription of Motrin 800. She has endometriosis (and yes, she gave me permission to post this--all her friends know), and the ER doctor said she should get on birth control because that would help the monthly pain.

I'm just glad nothing is seriously wrong.

So, I'm a zombie right now after not sleeping last night. And today is one of the busy days at work. Yaayyyy...

Anyway, time to start getting ready for what looks like a long day...I need some Coke Zero to get me started. Lol.

While searching for "anime zombie" on Google, I found this pretty accurate representation of a cat, who has the amazing freakish ability to speak Japanese:

Yeah, that's terrifying.

And oh yeah! I just remembered this awesome SpaceX landing yesterday! Beautiful!

Have a great day!
