But that's nothing compared to what's in store for Haiti. It'll be slammed and wow, probably just destroyed. There are a lot of assistance groups here already packing supplies for the victims there.
And like every tropical storm and hurricane that comes close, the media is all over it, and I have no idea what's going on in the rest of the world (except for Haiti) because, God knows, I need to be told to have batteries and bottled water 5,200 times.
The storm may impact my mom's funeral. Yes, I said funeral. My brother has stepped up to pay for one at a church near his home. My mom was a Catholic/Born Again Christian Fence Walker, so the deacon at the Catholic church in Port St. John will probably be pretty accommodating. John asked me what her favorite hymns or spiritual songs she liked. All I could think of was "Feliz Navidad." Lol. She seemed to like the songs I played in the car sometimes, like the Irish version of "In Christ Alone," so maybe the church will be able to play that one.
I would pick no other song as my anthem, and no greater song has such power to comfort as this one, in my opinion. Every single line is powerful and has great meaning to me. I hope you all watch it, because it's something I feel strongly about, and if doesn't bring a tear of comforting joy to your eyes, then, well, I don't know. Lol.

Hope Matthew doesn't cause much damage for you and others.
Nice song, which did bring a tear to my eyes. It's also nice to see a "Lol" coming from you. I believe you're doing okay. Keep the spirits up and cry when needed.
