Week 3 Full Steam Ahead

Week 2 was a success. Over the weekend, Joe had a quiz bowl, and Sunday, we tried an expert level escape room that used several different cyphers. We didn't escape, but not because we couldn't figure out the cyphers, but because we had missed a key hidden in one of the desk drawers and spent way too much time trying to figure out something we lacked the information to solve. So, once we found that key, we moved pretty quickly. The lady who runs the place was impressed we made it to the second room. We only had a couple more clues to figure out, so we were close. I think the lady said that only one or two teams had been able to escape before.  So, I think we'll go back at some time and finish the job.

Then we went out to eat at Outback, so that was delicious.

James and I watched a lot of movies this weekend, too. They seemed to be running a Jason Bateman marathon on TV, so we watched Identity Thief and The Change Up, among others. The babies in the kitchen scene in The Change Up was hilarious.

Yesterday, when we got home, we watched Anchorman 2. James hadn't seen it, but he thought the RV crash scene was as funny as I thought it was. Bowling balls and scorpions, lol. And the bat...

Anyway, it was a fun weekend!
