I am VERY thankful for my job, and my coworkers and my boss. When we all work together, we're the BEST team. :) :) :)
I'm really glad I'm doing x-ray twice a week now, too. After the first couple hard days, it's gotten easier, and my stamina for moving around and lifting things has improved. And I think my x-ray technique is getting better, too, which is good for my resume. The only part that's hard is coming back to my office the day after x-ray. It's hard to play catch up, but I'm getting into the swing of things, and trying to prioritize my time better, so everything seems to be falling into place after the first couple of hectic weeks. I have a feeling today will run pretty smooth.
Now if I could just get the kids to help out more at home, I'll be set.
I have a blog post I'm debating about putting up. It's sort of a satire of what's going on now in the chase. I want to be sure it's accurate, so I'll probably run it by a few people first.
This weekend, I really want to watch a few episodes of Planet Earth II. You can watch the full episodes on the BBC website. The clips I've seen are just amazing--footage no one has ever seen before. Man, if I could be a journalist of this kind of stuff in the wild, it would be my dream job.
Who knew snakes attacked in teams? It's CRAZY! And here's another amazing clip of some lizards with freaking swords under their chins!
Our planet is so amazing, and the advances in technology help us to see it in new, exciting ways. These kinds of programs are the kinds that get kids (and adults) interested in preserving the Earth, because we've already lost too many amazing animals.
I'm thinking about taking Joe hiking on the weekends. We need to get out of the house more, and the weather is just SO nice. There's a couple hiking areas near our house, so I think we'll start there. Hopefully, I can convince him that getting outside once in a while is better than staying holed up in his room playing computer games with his friends.
Anyway, time to get going...
Can't wait to explore our amazing planet with you and Joe soon.
Your coworkers and boss are the best as I witnessed when I was privileged to visit. 😊
